Tiffany Favrile Glass and Bronze Twelve-Light Lily Lamp

Description

This classic lamp is known as the “Aristocrat of the Garden” and has maintained its distinguished reputation among the Favriles. The basic design was created by one of the most distinguished of Tiffany artists, Mrs. Curtis Freshel. All Lily lamps embody a cluster of miniature shades in combinations from three to twenty-four. Each of the twelve shades here are in iridescent amber glass pendent from a petal-form socket, green-brown patina, and inscribed L.C.T. The base is impressed Tiffany Studios/New York.
